DoubleTree Introduces Allergy-Friendly Cookies

One of the lodging industry’s most popular amenities undoubtedly is the DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie presented at check-in. In keeping with consumers’ changing tastes, the complimentary treat is evolving with the times.

On Aug. 4 – National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day – the DoubleTree brand rolled out its allergy-friendly vegan cookie, free of nine allergens: wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, fish, sesame and shellfish.

To ensure their health benefits, this latest version comes individually packaged to prevent contamination.

“The cookies have been associated with DoubleTree for more than 30 years, but it’s amazing how delighted guests still get when offered one,” said Margarita Garcia, general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West.
