M&R Expands Community Support Efforts
M&R has begun supporting the Acacia Networks, one of the leading human service organizations in New York and other states. Its outreach touches on health, housing, social services and economic development.
Last month, for example, M&R helped sponsor an information breakfast on behalf of the organization at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Area General Manager Alan Chan and Nadine Charles, front office manager at the Holiday Inn Express New York JFK Airport, represented M&R.
“Acacia continues to expand its programing as the need arises,” Alan said. “One new effort, the Creative Minds Program, focuses on new ways to combat drug addiction. Acacia Networks is named for a desert tree that provides shelter in an often-unforgiving environment in which it grows.”
