M&R Team News Survey Reveals Overall Satisfaction

A significant majority of employees who took last month’s M&R Team News survey said they like the newsletter’s stories and photography and consider them to be relevant to their own work experience with the company.

Specifically, 87% of those employees said they are satisfied or very satisfied with the overall content, 98% like the way the newsletter looks and 91% consider it to be relevant.

Moreover, 74% said M&R Team News should continue to be published monthly; 96% said they had no issue accessing the newsletter via the internet and 67% said they felt engaged. Some 3% of survey takers would like to see their hotel featured more often, and 20% said they would like to learn more about M&R’s corporate plans.

The survey also showed that celebrations and recognition are important to many employees and there is interest in learning ideas and strategies from each other.

Cleo Clarke, vice president of the People & Culture department, thanked those who participated. "While the overall results are positive, we believe in continuous improvement and are evaluating enhancements to further engage associates," he said.
