New General Manager Named for Collinsville

Kristen Prablek has been named general manager of the Fairfield St. Louis Collinsville IL. She joins M&R from the Courtyard St. Louis St. Peters in Missouri, where she was assistant general manager.

During her seven-year hospitality industry career, Kristen has gained experience with Marriott brands, including SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn and Courtyard, which will hold her in good stead as she begins her tenure at the Fairfield. In addition, Kristen has two Hilton credits on her resume: the Hilton St. Louis Airport, where she began her career as a front desk agent, and the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, where she served as an assistant front office manager.

The Fairfield is Kristen’s first assignment as a general manager. She said that as she rose up the ladder, mentoring associates was a high priority. “I take mentoring to heart,” she said. “Without the mentoring I received, I would not be where I am today. Associates face the complexities of life. As a mentor, I can help.”
