People & Culture Department Celebrates One-Year Mark
It was just one year ago that M&R’s Human Resources department was renamed People & Culture as part of the company’s commitment to creating a more inclusive workplace that values employees as people, not just resources.
Moving to a people and culture organization was more than a name change. It was the first of many steps for the company to learn what is most meaningful to employees and deliver improved programs and tools that make employees’ lives easier.
The April issue of M&R Team News reflects on a year of positive change and a look at “Who’s Who” in People & Culture. The department continues to evolve, but the words “people and culture” serve as a daily reminder of the department’s top priorities.
