As we close the book on 2022 and look to the New Year, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your hard work and dedication this past year in providing our guests with best-in-class service, whether your job involves direct guest contact or is behind the scenes.
In many ways, 2022 was a transition year as the lodging industry began to recover from the setbacks of the pandemic. We expect this return to normalcy to continue in 2023, with both leisure and business travel rebounding.
What doesn’t change from year to year is the importance of your role in delivering hospitality to our guests. We know there are countless instances where M&R team members have gone the extra mile to satisfy our guests’ needs and ensure they have a successful stay.
We call this “hands-on hospitality,” and it is the core of our business: A guest service agent patiently checking in a family that speaks little English. A breakfast attendant offering to warm a baby’s bottle. A doorman flagging a taxi in the pouring rain for a departing guest. We appreciate everything you do every day.
